SSAFA Forces Help's aim at St Vincent's Care Home is to provide a safe, caring environment in comfortable surroundings for elderly men and women with service backgrounds. The facilities and services are based on the needs, abilities and aspirations of our residents, to enable all to live as full a life as their capabilities permit.

Mike Turner from Surrey says:
I have had the pleasure of visiting St Vincent's on a number of occassions, the first thing that strikes you is the impressive building and gardens.

The staff are always pleased to see you, and all take pride in their work.

The residents are again great people, all playing their part in the feel of the home.

There always seems to be activities going on, either in the home or trips out.

The housekeeping team need a big pat on the back, never been to the home that has impressed me so much.

We hope that they receive the recognition they deserve.

Gillian Butler from Northumberland says:
This is a fabulous facility for those who need a little extra care as they get older. The atmosphere is lovely, particularly at Christmas when I visited. Nicely decorated with lovely log fires. The staff are obviously dedicated and the residents very happy.
Chris Payne from Isle of Wight says:
I am an ex serviceman and have worked at St Vincents as a caretaker for over five years. In all this time I have been amazed by the fantastic level of care that the residents are given by a very dedicated staff. The residents welfare is always top priority at St Vincents. The home is extremely well run and there is a real sense of teamwork amongst all the staff including the Management, Carers, Domestic, Catering and Estates.

In fact the home is so good I am hoping to be a resident there myself if and when the time comes.
Juliet Chaplin from Surrey says:
St Vincents was recently extended and continues to provide a high standard of care for up to twenty-five residents in a very pleasant location.
